Special Occasion

My newest handbag passion is for our little, special, occasion handbags. They are petite, pretty and oh so embellished. I love that they get to have all the extraordinary, adornment beyond the fabulous glass beads that are used on our other handbags. I've used ribbons, rhinestone buckles, vintage buttons, clusters of silk flowers, feathers.... the ideas are endless. So far my favorite jewel on a little handbag had been the rhinestone buckles that I found on a pair of sandals. The sandles were on clearance and I bought 3 pair to get those buckles. They are the best! I have a couple left, just waiting for the next very special handbag to be made. Maybe it will be for a special bride for her wedding? A perfect match for a homecoming dress? Or just because?

This is the beginning of a special order little handbag. I will post the completed handbag when it is all done. Can't wait!
